An alleged plot to kill Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber has been uncovered.

According to reports, two men were arrested last month, Vermont and the other in New York, after police suspected the accused were conspiring with a convicted murderer to kill the teen star and others.

"There is no credible evidence to suggest that any individual(s) in the greater St. Albans area were or are in any imminent danger presented by Ruane's brief stay in St. Albans," police were quoted as saying.

According to E! Online, the men were allegedly plotting to strangle and castrate Bieber as well as his bodyguard.

Before the plan was carried out, convicted murderer Dana Martin, who is said to be obsessed with the 'Beauty and the beat' star, revealed his entire plan to investigators, US Weekly reported.

In response to the report, Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun, quoted by US Weekly, said: "We take every precaution to protect and ensure the safety of Justin and his fans."
