uShaka Marine World is currently negotiating the acquisition of a scintillating body tornado water slide which will be the first of its kind in South Africa.

According to CEO, Shawn Thompson, the body tornado is consistently rated in the Top 3 waters slides at theme parks around the world.

“It is uShaka Marine World’s business to lead the way when it came to the ultimate water thrill. “We have to keep surprising our guests to keep them coming back for more. We pride ourselves on going all out to add new elements to our offering, to create new attractions and re-invest in the park”, he said

uShaka Marine World is a 16-hectare theme park which was opened in April 2004 in Durban. It is located on the strip of land between the beachfront and the harbour.

The park has been rated “the Coolest, Fun Destination” in KZN over the past 5 years by The Sunday Times Generation Next Survey and uShaka strives to maintain this title in the years to come
