A meeting between Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula and the Cricket SA (CSA) board was running more than an hour late on Thursday afternoon.
With Mbalula arriving well after the scheduled noon start, all parties subsequently adjourned for lunch.
Mbalula was to decide after the meeting whether CSA had taken appropriate action in response to a ministerial inquiry into its finances, following a lengthy bonus scandal.
The CSA board said last month it had accepted, in principle, the recommendations made by the inquiry.
Bonuses amounting to R4.7 million were paid to the CSA staff after the federation hosted the 2009 Indian Premier League, but the payments were not cleared by the board or the CSA remuneration committee. -Sapa
