E! News anchor and Fashion Police co-host Giuliana Rancic and husband are expecting their first child, E! News reported.

The couple whose struggles to conceive a baby have been well documented on their reality show, Giuliana and Bill, are expecting their baby later this year via a gestational surrogate.

"We are so thrilled that our prayers have been answered and we are absolutely ecstatic to be sharing this with everyone who has been following our journey”, the couple said.

Giuliana underwent a double mastectomy in December, after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

Bill who won the 5th season of the Apprentice also announced the couple’s plans to renew their vows and ‘really take life on and look at it in a new light.’
