The newly appointed MEC for health and social development, Dr Norman Mabasa, yesterday joined the gospel group, Winnie Mashaba and Balatedi ba Morena at Botlokwa Hospital for a prayer session.

Botlokwa Hospital is one of the hotspots identified by emergency medical personnel as part of the fight against violence and road carnage.

Emergency medical personnel attended to more than 600 incidents during Easter weekend.
