Communties in Ngaka Modiri Molema district have been invited to make contributions to the municipality's draft integrated development plan (IDP) and the 2012-13 financial year budget, which are open for public comment until next week.

Municipal manager Mokgele Mojaki said people could access the two documents on the municipality's website, www.nmmdm.gov.za, or at the municipal manager's and speaker's offices in Mafikeng, Ratlou, Tswaing, Ditsobotla and Ramotshere Moiloa local municipalities.

"Public ­participation meetings will be held to give feedback to the ­communities regarding their ­suggestions and ­recommendations, and notices in this regard will be made public," Mojaki said.

Written submissions have to reach Mojaki''s office by Friday, April 27.
