Qatar Airways has announced the launch of flights from Doha to Kilimanjaro International Airport, starting in July. The Tanzania Tourist Board MD, Dr Aloyce Nzuki, said: “The Kilimanjaro, Tanga, Arusha and Manyara regions host some of the most unique and important tourist attractions in the country. We expect the benefits to spread over to the entire area.”

He said that the Kilimanjaro route was one of the fastest growing hubs in the aviation industry and boosted the tourism development potential in the country. – 701068
